Although people have mentioned in their stories that before independence Women were treated very badly, after Independence, some have started to evolve as super heroes and villains on the same side. A lot of Hardworking and energetic female have proved themselves on separate fields like Agriculture, Sports, Education and more.

Vimla kaur is an example of the great saying, “ Be young at heart and not age.” Vimla Kaul, at the age of 80 years is going all out and providing education to children in a small village Madanpur Khadar, Delhi. For the past 20 years, she has been continuing with this educational endeavor.

She closely noticed a lack of commitment and worked in the education field for underprivileged students. Vimla took responsibility on her shoulder and strove to uplift kids in the capital city. The prominent regions being Sarita Vihar. Despite the lack of infrastructure and proper building, Sarita Kaul is unstoppable and continues with excellent work.

When we keep talking about the hidden work and gems, the list goes on and on but have you heard of someone who believes that belief brings in hope..i would like to narrate you a story of a girl who believed in destiny.

Last year, Delhi saw 18 incidences of acid attack. However, this number doesn’t paint the correct picture as these incidences are just the ones wherein the victims registered reports against perpetrators.

LA is one such victim of an acid attack which happened in 2015 in Delhi. At that time, she was a 15-year-old teenager. This unfortunate incident left her scarred – both physically and emotionally – for life. Not being the one to give up, she sought the support of many acid victims and filed a petition to curb acid sales in the Supreme Court of India.

For her commendable work in helping acid attack victims, Laxmi received the International Women of Courage Award from the then U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama. Today, Chhanv Foundation – an NGO run by Laxmi – is the hope and voice of acid attack victims all over the world. Wow…that’s huge..

Already in goosebumps right, but do remember we still have people dying recklessly and tortured badly for the so called freedom.

Justice needs to be served. Freedom should not only be appreciated and talked about the day before, it should be taken into count. These are jist examples, weve got innumerable ones to choose from. While leaving, im prerry sure you must have all gained knowledge. Dropping it here does not make any difference, the difference starts from here.
